In addition to the annual Promenade, this year Westmoor's ASB and Class clubs will be hosting a winter formal dance, the Winter Ball. A semi-formal event, this year's Winter Ball will be held at the Giftcenter Pavilion in San Francisco, this December 9th (a Friday). The theme for the even is "Do you believe in magic?"
All Westmoor students are invited to come, from freshmen to seniors. Light foods, desserts and drinks will be offered, and Lifetouch will be setting up a photography area for Winter Ball photographs. Semi-formal attire is required, and all Westmoor campus rules will apply to the event.
Tickets went on sale Monday, November 7th, and are currently being sold for $45, although prices are set to increase to $50 next week. They will be sold in the counseling hallway afterschool, and will also be available in the quad area during lunch (see school map).
All Westmoor students are invited to bring a guest from outside of the school. However, you will need to fill out a form for a guest pass, which can be picked up when you buy your ticket.
-----Edit 2005.12.05-----
Students traveling to the Giftcenter Pavilion by car will need to find their own parking. Several parking areas are situated within the area (although these are not affilitated with the Giftcenter), including one parking garage which is located just across the street. Parking fees should cost around $5-10 per vehicle for the night.

There are public parking lots in the vicinity of the GiftCenter. Visit this link for more information.I am not 100% sure, but I am fairly certain that there is no valet parking service. I will verify this and update the post possibly sometime today. If you'd like, you can leave your email here and I can update you when I find out the information.
