Westmoor Prom 2006 (v1.05)

 As most of you may already know, Westmoor's Junior/Senior Prom is coming up right around the corner. Amid all the prom dress preparation and limo arrangements and date anxieties, however, you may just have forgotten one thing: buying your actual ticket! The last day to purchase prom tickets is this Thursday, April 20th. This year's prom will be held on Saturday, May 13th, at the Hilton in downtown San Francisco, located near Union Square. The event will run from 6pm to 12am midnight. You can find a quick overview of all the details below. In addition, prom court nominations (king, queen, etc.) and seating arrangements will be made available during government or economics classes (for seniors) and U.S. history classes (for juniors). Seating arrangement forms may also be picked up from Room 109. Court nominations and seating arrangements must be submitted to Room 109 by Friday, April 28th. You can also download and print the prom seating form yourself. Download the image file (prom_seating.gif, 9.09kb), and print it out (either directly or copy+paste into Microsoft Word). There are 10 seats to a table, and only one (1) form is to be turned in per table, so make sure your group fills out only a single form, and that your name doesn't appear on anyone else's seating arrangement form. The dress code has also been released (below, verbatim from Ms. Amos): Please remember that a strict dress code will be enforced at prom. Students must dress appropriately, and sneakers will not be allowed – this includes changing into sneakers later in the evening. Violators to these rules will be sent home. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Amos. Prom Tickets, Seating Prom tickets/invitations are available for pick-up now in Room 109. For admission into prom, all you need is Photo ID (student ID will do). The seating arrangements have been posted up outside of Room 109. Prom Slide Show The Prom Comittee is putting together a slide show of pictures for Prom night. If you're interested in sending your picture(s) in, bring the image files into Room 109, or email them to lavender1088@hotmail.com by Friday, May 12th. Prom Photos In ordr to minimize time spent waiting in line, an organized schedule sheet has been created; each table will have an assigned time to take pictures. See the prom photo schedule page. Heh, sorry about the slip-ups. I've made the changes. You'll also find some more information on court nominations, seating arrangements, and the dress code.For all students, I'll update the version number when I make changes, so you can check back if there's new information added. You can also check whenever there's a +1 on the comments count since the last time you viewed the blog, as it'll most likely be an update from me or Whitney E. pointing out more mistakes.

Added in some more information on the prom seating arrangements. If you can't find the form, you can download here from Flask, and just print it out. There are 10 seats to a table, and the forms are due in by next Friday, April 28th.-

Yes, well there were apparently some errors and typos in that portion, which I simply took directly from the message in the daily bulletin.Sorry if this might not be updated for awhile; I'm currently swamped with preparation for the upcoming blog project (meeting Tuesday, afterschool Room 411!). It seemed like most of the text can still be understood within context, so I decided to leave it for journalistic accuracy's sake and comedic value (the two core values of this blog, in fact). I'll change it if I get a "Huh, I don't understand the policy!" or a complaint from someone.

Updated information on prom tickets/invitations and the slide show.-You can pick invitations up in Room 109.
