Westmoor High School's marching band has only been resurrected for 3 years and has worked long and hard at numerous afterschool practices. Their effort has finally paid off as, to everyone's surprise, Westmoor's name was announced after the word "Sweepstakes," an award given to the band which has scored highest overall. "Sweepstakes means that you've swept everything! That you're the best!" Ms. Stewart excitedly exclaimed to all the band members who were still confused to what this award represented. We didn't just claim first place, we won everything.

Special thanks to Ms. Stewart, Elizabeth (our drum major), all the students in the marching block and the auxiliary for their time, effort, and awesome performance!
